This station occupies the first place of audience for the diversity of educational and cultural programs in the department of Sololá, part of the south west.

It has received recognition from organizations that support the development of Guatemalan society, such as the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), which awards the Alternative Communication Award to Radio La Voz de Atitlán , for its programming in the defense and promotion of the rights of children and youth, in the year one thousand nine hundred and ninety-six.
